I have reviewed and confirmed my local laws, ordinances and regulations regarding compliance for items restricted by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and CARB (California Air Resources Board, which issued rules based on CVC [California Vehicle Code] sections 27156 and 38391) which clearly state: It is illegal to install any aftermarket product that alters or modifies the original performance of a motor vehicle pollution control system unless the part is exempted or has an EO # (Executive Order Number) issued by CARB.
I understand the Installation of parts which are not CARB approved on a pollution-controlled vehicle in the State of California, or cooperating states, including my state of residence, may result in the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) revoking the vehicle registration, title / certificate of ownership, transfer of registration, and/or the vehicle failing inspection for smog. I also confirm I understand law enforcement may cite me for the use of an illegal aftermarket part and seize my title and license plate because THIS PRODUCT MAY ALSO BE ILLEGAL NATIONWIDE UNDER THE FEDERAL CLEAN AIR ACT (42 U.S.C. § 7522(A)(3))

Additionally, I confirm that CA Auto Parts makes no claims or representation in regards to parts that have not been certified by CARB with an Executive Order, and CA Auto Parts makes no claims or representation in regards to parts that are legal for use on closed courses or in competition only. Furthermore, I confirm that neither CA Auto Parts or its chain of distribution is responsible for my independent decision to install and/or use this product and I understand that this product is not legal for use on public roadways; including highways, local roads and public land because it was designed to be used in competition on closed courses and is “RACE USE ONLY”.
