This gives the seat a modern and aggressive look, while also making it easier to run harnesses and comm lines through. This makes cleaning and maintenance easier, but is also a very important feature if you have the RZR PRO R4 since the Clutch and Belt is located behind the seats and firewall. So if you break a drive belt out in the trail or dunes, you can quickly take the bench out to change the belt.
